Ares Wargames Celebrates Grand Opening

Ares Wargames, a store "by gamers, for gamers," officially opened September 16th, 2010 with ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, and the New Mexico State Department of Veteran's Services.

Founder and CEO Sean Scott (center, striped shirt) performs ribbon cutting ceremonies. Special thanks to Albuquerque's Dewback Ridge Garrison 501st Legion International Star Wars costuming for participation.

The U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Station gears up to support the US Marine Corps' annual Toys for Tots drive at Ares Wargames. Comic Con ladies and historical re-enactors from World War II and the U.S. Civil War added to the grand opening fun.

Store Manager Matt Springer (front, center) poses with members of the grand opening team.

With more than 4,000 square feet of space, Ares Wargames is large enough for a crowd and yet small enough to feel comfortable. Hundreds of visitors stopped by the store during grand opening weekend.

Come experience Ares Wargames for yourself!
