Ares Wargames Grand Opening a Success!
We want to thank everyone who came to our Grand Opening yesterday, October 16th. We had several hundred people visit the store during the day! We hosted many different events ranging from the PC gaming Starcraft 2 tournament which had 16 players participate as well as Infinity and Lord of the Rings demos.
We want to thank everyone who came to our Grand Opening yesterday, October 16th. We had several hundred people visit the store during the day! We hosted many different events ranging from the PC gaming Starcraft 2 tournament which had 16 players participate as well as Infinity and Lord of the Rings demos.
Throughout the day, we had many different personalities show up including Star Wars characters, Star Trek characters, and Comic-Con Ladies. They were all present at our ceremonial ribbon cutting event sponsored by the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce as well as the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce. The NM Department of Veterans’ Services was also present and a crew from KOB-TV 4 News produced a segment which aired on Saturday’s 10pm newscast.
This is only the beginning in our journey. Though it has been a hard road to get where we are now, perseverance and dedication allowed us to achieve this significant milestone. We will only improve our processes and continue to offer compelling and exciting events to all of our customers.
